Mischa Wine Information
Eventide Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
Winemaker's comments
Appearance: Youthful with brilliant purple to ruby hues. Firm colour that will hold for many years.
Nose: Berry fruit that expresses crushed mulberries and blackcurrants with a hint of cinnamon.
Palate: Fruit that mirrors bouquet with mulberries and blackcurrant that seems to intensify on the palate and lead to a long dry finish. Attractive tannins that will reward the patient as they further integrate into the wines berry and spice flavours. A supple well balances wine with subtle use of wood to further enhance the abundance of natural Cabernet character.
General comments: Young and eminently drinkable now but will improve with time to give added depth as bottle age character develops. A wine that can be drunk in the company of friends or used to enhance a meal. Would compliment a well-aged steak with mushroom sauce.
