Mischa Wine Information
Eventide Classic Syrah 2003
Winemaker's comments
Colour: Bright and clear but very deep black to purple hues with a small light red rim.
Nose: Berry fruit plum, spice and a touch of vanilla make up a pleasing and persistent aroma. These aromas will broaden as the wine breathes to give a hint of liquorice and mint.
Palate: Full flavoured this juicy and supple wine taste of berries and the vanilla aroma carries on to the initial palate. Excellent and subtle use of wood to enhance the best features of the wine. It has a good structure with distinct but fine ripe tannin on the dry finish.
Comments: Good balance makes this mouth filling, rich and fruity wine perfect for game or barbequed meat. It will particularly complement Cajun spiced meats.
