Eventide Classic Syrah 2006
Winemaker's comments
Appearance: Medium dark garnet with purple hues especially at the edge.
Nose: Smokey, spicy with prune and briar fruit some leathery notes.
Palate: Charred oak with plum and crushed berry flavours make this an unpretentious wine that has classic Shiraz character.
Comments: Tasted at the beginning of June 2008. Drink over the next two years and it will further integrate and soften as it develops.
