Winemaker's comments
Colour: Very deep red to purple. Vibrant and youthful looking.
Nose: Hints of leather and spice before the underlying blackberry fruit comes through. Subtle use of wood adds to the allure of the bouquet.
Palate: Intense red berry fruit with rich tannins and attractive spicy flavours add to the satisfying mouth feel of this wine.
Comments: Excellent balance with velvety finish. Drink before the end of 2008. Enjoy with a green pepper steak or a lamb knuckle stew.
