Mischa Wine Information

Eventide Shiraz 2006

Winemaker's comments

Appearance: Purple to ruby with an almost impenetrable center and a magenta edge.

Nose: Smokey and spicy with rich concentrated red berry fruit and vanilla and mocha aromas.

Palate: Plums and mulberries with coffee flavours finishing with cinnamon spice and the dusty but ripe tannins contribute to the excellent structure.

Comments: Tasted at the beginning of June 2008.  Very rich and fruity, great to drink now either by itself or with food.  Should reach its optimum in about 18 months and will continue to hold for a couple of years after that.
