CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2019 QUICK NOTES
APPEARANCE: This wine has a slightly purple rim, but a deep ruby colour.
NOSE: Mulberry, blackberry and blueberries with a hint of vanilla, oak and Christmas cake.
PALATE: Firstly, soft flavours of plums and mulberries. Secondly, mature tannins move over the mid-palate. The flavours of this wine evolve from dark fruit to a rich finish with hints of oak and blackberry jam that linger after each sip.
FOOD PAIRING: The Cabernet Sauvignon pairs well with lamb roast and vegetables, grilled steak or chicken dishes.
The Cabernet Sauvignon can be seen as the king of grapes, because it is the most popular grape variety in the world. This cultivar is from the Bordeaux region of France. As a result of its small berries with thick skins, it allows for a deep colour and a great wine concentration. In addition, this cultivar is also known for its resistance to a wide range of vineyard diseases.
On Mischa we select only the best grapes from our vineyards. Therefore, we are able to create only the best wines possible. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is left to mature to perfection using tight-grain French and American oak.
