R110 per bottle

A rich ruby coloured wine with an alluring slightly purple rim. This pure expression of a Cabernet Sauvignon has enticing aromas of mulberry, plums and black berry followed by rich aromas of oak and leather. The grippy and wholesome tannins of this wine is a pleasure by itself. This well-balanced structure develops right from the get go into a long and lingering finish full of fruit and slight spice. Flavours of plum, dried fruit and subtle oak notes are accompanied by a fresh acidity. Try it with a charred gruyere burger, creamy pasta, or roast lamb, and cellar for up between 3 and 5 years if you don’t plan on finishing your bottles.

VITICULTURAL ANALYSIS

Cabernet Sauvignon is known as the king of grapes. Hailing from the Bordeaux region of France, Cabernet Sauvignon is the most widely planted grape variety in the world. Small, thick skinned berries allow for concentrated, deeply coloured wines and also resistance to a wide range of vineyard diseases. On Mischa we select only the best grapes from our vineyards, thus creating only the best wines possible. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is left to mature to perfection using tight grained French and American oak.
