VITICULTURAL ANALYSIS
Chenin Blanc is the most widely planted wine grape in South Africa. Its versatility is obvious as it is used to make everything from fresh sparkling wines to brandy to well balanced desert wines. This Chenin blanc was made from a certified heritage vineyard, planted in 1977, from Kliprug, a farm very close to Mischa Estate. Being an old vineyard, the yield is a lot lower, but produces more complex and high quality grapes.
