ROUSSANNE 2020 QUICK NOTES
APPEARANCE: Clear and bright, with a predominant golden hue.
NOSE: Aromas of peach, yellow pear and rich honey followed by cured apricots and peach jam.
PALATE: A beautiful balance of acidity and smooth mouth feel.
PAIRING: Pairs well with rich and spicy seafood dishes as well as a robust cheese board.
AGEING: This wine has the potential to be cellared for 3 to 5 years.
A white wine variety originally from the Rhône region in France. It’s known for its Russet colour grape, intrinsic ability to age, and difficulty to grow. Because of this, it’s rare as a single cultivar and often produced in a heavily oaked style.
Mischa’s 2020 Roussanne is unoaked so you can experience the full range of beautiful, bold flavours this elegant Roussanne has to offer. Out of 14 vintages, this is only the 5th to be placed into the bottle and in very limited quantity.
