VITICULTURAL ANALYSIS
Sauvignon Blanc is a green skinned (white wine) variety that originates from the south west of France. It is one of the varieties that call the world famous region of Bordeaux its home and is one of the parent cultivars of Cabernet Sauvignon. Predominantly, Sauvignon Blanc is grown in cooler climates and produce green flavours such as green pepper and have high acidity.
At Mischa we strive for balance in all parts of life and our farming. Groenberg being a warmer climate, produces a Sauvignon Blanc with more tropical flavours. These tropical flavours of the Mischa Sauvignon Blanc 2022 are beautifully balanced with hints of green flavours and seamless acidity. This balance is all due to the unique terroir that Mischa has and our passion for balance in our soil, farming practices and grape production.
